Festive Wreath Workshop

Sunday 3rd December

1pm- 4pm Crescent Arts Centre (Workshop 1)

Learn to make your own fully reusable, sustainable and ethically gathered, fresh green wreath for this festive season.

Whilst crafting your own wreath, from freshly foraged greenery under the guidance of Folk&Flora, you will also learn the meanings and folklore behind the plants and ornaments we bring into our homes during these winter months.

Each participant will take home one fully decorated, reusable fresh wreath and the skills, knowledge and a few spare bells or baubles to refill it at anytime. We will cover how to sustainably and ethically gather your own materials, where to find them and what to avoid, the folklore and meaning of each plant, shape and decoration, the aesthetics of building your own wreath with personal flare, and the environmental impact of store bought, one time use arrangements. All whilst sipping festive tea or coffee (seasonal snacks will also be provided)!

Come on down to Crescent Arts Centre (Workshop 1) and kick of the festive season with a little floral magic.
